Enisca are delighted to have been awarded the Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) C336 LVAC Switchboards & AC Service Panel Framework. As NIE’s sole provider Enisca will provide their client transmission LVAC switchboards and distribution AC services panels under a framework contract to support the NIE Network’s substations. The framework contract will run for 5 years with the possibility of a further 2-year extension.

NIE Networks owns the regulated electricity transmission and distribution network in Northern Ireland through which it distributes electricity to approximately 860,000 customers. With over 1,200 employees the NIE invests circa £100M in an estate that includes 2,220km of transmission and 47,000km of distribution networks and over 300 major substations. It is responsible for the planning, development, construction and maintenance of the entire network as well as the control and operation of the distribution network.
