2 x MEICA Site Managers - Enisca Browne

The Company

Our services include civil, process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation, design and manufacture of Control Panels, MCC’s, PLC’s, SCADA and automation systems.

We have a very healthy forward orderbook with projects across the group through to 2025. This is a growth period for Enisca Browne and we are looking for motivated people to join our business as it grows. It is an exciting time to join our team.

We have an immediate requirement to appoint 2 x MEICA Electrical Site Managers to work as part of multi-disciplinary projects in the South East clean water non-infrastructure industry.

The Person

Reporting to a Project Engineer and/or the Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting all site-based aspects of electrical and mechanical installations (MEICA) during construction in projects on site and in from the office. You will be able to lead, manage and interface with all aspects of the project, inclusive of sub-contractors, materials suppliers and reporting. You will be able to create and maintain resource loaded program’s read and understand engineering drawings. You will be able to maintain change management processes. Knowledge of NEC contracts is a bonus for this role.

Candidates ideally will have a qualification in, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical engineering the latter with demonstrable experience in M.E.I.C.A loaded projects and or Construction managers NVQ. Essential experience in a multi-disciplinary construction environment is required. You must be dynamic in your approach to your work, dedicated, a capable leader and competent site manager.

Personal Requirements

Site Managers to work alongside the Project Engineers in overseeing Clean Water projects to completion. We are looking for someone who has strong electrical experience MEICA, experienced in the installation and management of Clean Water projects. The Site Manager will be accountable and responsible for:

  • Carrying out projects in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of the business and its customers
  • Implementation of SEW permit requirements OMS, SWA
  • Manage Projects in accordance with the Construction Phase Plan (CPP)
  • Planning and Organising activities within projects
  • Liaise with contractors and client’s representatives
  • Issue clear understandable work instructions to staff and contractors
  • Deliver progress versus programme reports to the Project Engineer
  • Monitor Health and Safety
  • Actively monitor Sub-Contractors
  • NEC3 change management, EWN, NCE, and CE processing with Project Engineer and manager
  • Conduct site safety inspections toolbox talks and complete associated paperwork
  • Work closely with Project Managers and engineers to ensure effective allocation of resources
  • Maintain Quality.

Skills

  • Demonstrable Experience in Clean Water, MEICA construction site management
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations
  • CSCS
  • Clean water Card
  • Electrical and Mechanical experience
  • SMSTS / SSSTS or equivalent site management qualification essential
  • NRSWA manager an advantage
  • People leadership and management skills
  • Sound knowledge of Health and Safety and its practical implications
  • NEBOSH advantage
