Antrim WWTW

Antrim (Milltown) WwTW is designed to serve a combined residential and industrial population equivalent of 87,000.

Enisca was awarded the Antrim WwTW upgrade works, under the NI Water “Lot 2” Year 1 Base Maintenance Contract.

Enisca’s key scope of the work was to supply, install and commission a new sludge import screen with new dedicated control panel, integrated with existing site PLC.

Other works included the supply and installation of 3 Nr odour control extract blowers and major refurbishment works to 3 Nr existing sludge thickeners and 8 Nr sludge dewatering Units, 3 Nr sludge feed pumps and sludge cake screw conveyors.

Following the successful completion of the above project, Enisca have been awarded the contract (under 2016/17 “Year 2” Base Maintenance) to undertake further base maintenance works.
