Stockbury PS

South East Water (SEW) had an urgent requirement for a pumping solution to be delivered within a 6 week design and build timeframe to maintain the quality of supply of drinking water to the Stockbury area. An offsite build solution was required to delivered to site within a 6 week timeframe.

The brief required a simple solution of two pumps, inlet and outlet pipework, controls and capacity to take a power supply from locally on site. Control functionality was required to maintain a pressure head to force the water into and through a GAC. Enisca provided a containerised solution to meet their immediate needs whilst also allowing SEW future flexibility to relocate this for rapid deployment elsewhere in the future. The Enisca DfMA Pump Set was factory tested and delivered to site ahead of schedule. Enisca Browne was engaged by SEW for the scoping, design, provision, installation, testing and commissioning of all mechanical, electrical, control, automation, monitoring, telemetry equipment, and the associated ancillary civil engineering works necessary for the successful completion including commissioning, testing and training of the scope of works including:

  • DfMA Pump Set c/w duty standby end suction pumps
  • Form 2 stainless steel wall mounted control panel
  • Mitsubishi FRF-740 incorporation intelligent operation via modbus between VSD & PLC.
  • Telemetry – Seprol S255 unit
  • Level & pressure instrumentation
  • Welded stainless steel pipework rated to16bar & associated valves
  • Process cabling and domestic electrical heating, lighting & insulation
  • Full commissioning and interfacing with client’s telemetry system
