Graduate Project Engineer

We are looking for someone to join our projects team, that demonstrates a positive and proactive approach to your own personal growth and career development.

The Graduate Engineer will be a key member of the project delivery team supporting the delivery of a range of M&E projects.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Work as part of the project delivery team to ensure delivery of the project on time and within budget.

2. Provide support to site, construction, and remote delivery teams at all stages.

3. Compile specifications for the purchase of materials and equipment including bid pricing schedules from scope of works.

4. The preparation of project budgets, placing orders for the procurement of plant and materials and ensure they are within budget.

5. Deal with queries during the procurement process.

6. Assist in the design process and ensure that all others involved in design processes are informed of any changes to the client’s specification.

7. Understand the contractual arrangements of a project and ensure that they are not compromised due to design or procurement issues.

8. Assist in the identification and pre-qualification of sub-contractors.


Person Specification

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A third level engineering qualification
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Pay close attention to detail to all tasks undertaken.
  • Possesses a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, as part of a team and independently.
  • Ability to travel, plan, manage and prioritise own workload.
